Founding of the JSW Thuringia
The founding of the JSW state associations is in full swing – and on September 20, 2025, I was able to witness firsthand how motivated and committed the youth in the individual states are. Especially in times of conflict and disagreements, a fantastic board has been elected here – here's to good cooperation and a constructive course with the JSW Thuringia.
Fabio de Masi opens his office in Passau
On September 18, 2025, our MEP Fabio de Masi opened one of his Citizens' Offices in Passau. In a meaningful speech, he reported on his upcoming projects, the political situation in Brussels, and opportunities to visit, which he organized together with his Passau office manager, Dennis Neubert. Together with Louise Bruckmoser (JSW Saxony), Leonie Wendt (JSW BuVo), and Pascal Käser (JSW Bavaria), I also made the long journey to the Austrian border and, from many discussions, gained inspiration for the future work of the JSW Board.
Thank you very much for the invitation!
World Peace Day in Zwickau
For this year's World Peace Day, I was in Zwickau at a magnificent rally in the heart of the city center. Our Zwickau party colleagues demonstrated outstanding organizational talent, as the turnout showed: more than 300 people interested in peace, including both children and seniors, gathered and listened to the speakers. Special guest star: Amira Mohammed Ali.
I sincerely thank the people of Zwickau for the invitation and the opportunity to speak! You'll find my speech online soon!
"Youth in the East" event in Leipzig
Our major annual event, "Youth in the East - Between Woke Big Cities and Disregarded Small Towns," on August 30th in Leipzig was a truly interesting experience. Even though the audience was kept to a more informal atmosphere, the exchange was all the more intense. Many different viewpoints, topics, and ideas were shared and discussed. Democracy thrives on precisely this exchange. The entire recording of the event will soon be available online!
Gäubodenfest Straubing
The BSW stands behind culture and traditions – one of these traditions is the Straubinger Gäubodenfest (Gäuboden Festival). So, on August 10th, I jumped in the car and headed down to Bavaria. There, our mission was clear: Together with Bavarian JSW representatives like Leonie Wendt (BuVo JSW) and Denis Gerlitz (JSW Bavaria), we demonstrated and demonstrated our closeness to the people – the JSW is more than just a boring reading group! Political work must be part of everyday life – and it should also be fun!
Riverside Magdeburg
What's more important than being close to the people? Even more close to the people! Just one week after the founding of the JSW, we were present – including on August 3rd in Magdeburg at the Riverside Citizens' Dialogue. This is an opportunity to connect with politicians, parties, or interest groups in a relaxed atmosphere and to exchange views before sailing together on the Elbe and enjoying the idyllic scenery. Of course, such an invitation is not to be missed...
JSW Founding Congress Bochum
On July 26th, the time had finally come – after five months of planning, preparation, organization, and many sleepless nights, we finally founded our youth association in Bochum. I would like to thank everyone present for this fantastic day, and especially my voters, who clearly placed their trust in me with well over 80% of the vote. Together with a very strong board, I have an exciting task ahead of me, and I'm already incredibly excited!
Party Congress Bavaria Saxony-Anhalt
In terms of local responsibilities for the founding of the JSW, Bavaria and Saxony-Anhalt were also among the areas I oversaw. For this reason, and out of a mutual desire for good cooperation, I was also a guest at the LPT in Bavaria on July 12th and the LPT in Saxony-Anhalt on June 21st. I sincerely thank both regional associations for the invitation and look forward to our continued collaboration.
Networking meeting for JSW preparation
In preparation for the founding of the JSW, we as the founding team wanted to give a wide variety of supporters, members, and interested parties the opportunity to exchange ideas and get involved. To this end, we traveled throughout the country and organized networking events. I was able to organize and support exciting meetings in Dresden, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Munich, and Nuremberg, and I was more than impressed by the enthusiasm of the people there!
